"Olivia, This story is a continuation of Joseph story. Can you tell me something about him?" Mama Otter asked. Olivia nodded, "Yes, he was thrown in prison because Potiphars wife lied."

"That's right," Papa Otter added. "Well, in this chapter, we're going to learn about what happened next in Joseph's life."

Mama Otter continued the story, "While Joseph was in prison, two of Pharaoh's officials were also put in jail. One was the chief cupbearer and the other was the chief baker. Joseph interpreted their dreams and told them that the chief cupbearer would be released and restored to his position, but the chief baker would be executed. And just as Joseph predicted, these things happened just as he had said."

Olivia was surprised, "How did Joseph know what was going to happen?"

Papa Otter explained, "God had given Joseph the ability to interpret dreams, and he was using that gift to serve others, even while he was in prison. And because Joseph was faithful to God, he was able to help others and bring hope to those around him."

Mama Otter continued, "But the chief cupbearer forgot about Joseph and the favor he had shown him, even after he was released from prison and restored to his position. It wasn't until two years later that the Pharaoh had a dream that no one could interpret, and the chief cupbearer remembered Joseph and told Pharaoh about him."

Mama Otter and Papa Otter hugged Olivia tightly. "Just like Joseph, we can trust that God has a plan for our lives, even if it takes time for it to unfold. And if we stay faithful to Him, He will use us to bring hope to others and help those around us."

Lesson: Genesis chapter 40, we learn about the importance of patience and staying faithful to God. Even when things seem to take a long time to happen. We can trust that God has a plan for our lives, and if we stay true to Him, He will use us to bring hope to others and help those around us.
