"Olivia, do you remember Joseph and how he was sold by his brothers?" Mama Otter asked. Olivia nodded, "Yes, and I learned not to be jealous and angry over other people's success."

"That's right," Papa Otter added with a smile. "Well, in this chapter, we're going to learn about what happened to Joseph while he was in Egypt."

Mama Otter continued the story, "Joseph was working for a man named Potiphar, who was an officer of Pharaoh, the king of Egypt. Joseph was a faithful and hard-working servant and he was put in charge of all of Potiphar's household. But one day, Potiphar's wife tried to seduce Joseph, but he refused because he knew it was wrong."

Olivia was surprised, "What happened to Joseph when he refused?"

Papa Otter explained, "Potiphar's wife was angry and she lied by accused Joseph of trying to attack her. Potiphar was so angry that he had Joseph thrown into prison, even though he was innocent."

Mama Otter continued, "But even in prison, Joseph was still faithful to God. He helped the other prisoners and God blessed him by giving him favor in the eyes of the prison warden. And eventually, Joseph was able to interpret the dreams of two of Pharaoh's officials, which led to him being brought before Pharaoh himself."

Mama Otter and Papa Otter hugged Olivia tightly. "Just like Joseph, we can trust that God will always be with us, no matter where we are or what we are going through. And if we stay faithful to Him, He will use us to do great things, even in the most difficult of circumstances."

Lesson: Genesis chapter 39 teaches us that sometimes we will be faced with difficult decisions and other people encouraging us to do the wrong thing. But it's important to always choose what is right and good, even if it's not easy. This is called having strong character and making good choices.
