"Have you ever heard about the descendants of Noah and how they spread out around the earth?" Asked Mama Otter. Olivia shook her head no. Mama otter explained, "Noah had three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, and each of them had many children of their own."

Papa Otter continued, "As the generations passed, the descendants of Noah spread out and formed new communities. They built cities and started new civilizations."

Mama Otter said, "One of the descendants of Ham, named Nimrod, became a great warrior and hunter. He built the city of Babel, where people spoke the same language."

Olivia asked, "What happened next?"

Papa Otter replied, "God saw that the people were becoming too proud and were starting to build a tower that would reach the heavens. God wanted to stop them, so he confused their language and they could no longer understand each other."

Mama Otter added, "This story teaches us about the importance of humility and obedience to God. It's important to remember that pride can cause us to stray from God's plans for us."

Olivia smiled and said, "I will always remember to stay humble and obedient to God, just like the descendants of Noah."

Papa Otter hugged Olivia and told her how proud he was of her for understanding the story and what it means.

Lesson: Genesis chapter 10 reminds us of the importance of remembering our roots and where we come from. It also shows us how all people on earth are interconnected and share a common ancestry.
