"Let's dive into the fourth chapter of Genesis, we will learn about the first family," Mama Otter explained. "Adam and Eve had two sons, Cain and Abel."
Mama Otter explained. "Cain was a farmer and Abel was a shepherd. They both offered gifts to God, but God accepted Abel's gift because it came from his heart, while Cain's gift did not."
Papa Otter continued, "Cain became jealous of Abel and ended up killing him. God punished Cain for his sin and marked him, so that no one would harm him."
Olivia listened carefully as her parents explained the importance of offering gifts to God with a pure heart. She learned about the consequences of sin and the importance of seeking forgiveness when we make mistakes.
Papa and Mama Otter hugged Olivia and told her how proud they are of her. Mama otter reminded Olivia, "Always remember that God loves you and wants you to come to him with a pure heart. We should always seek his forgiveness for any wrongs you may have done."
Lesson: Genesis chapter 4 reminds us that it is important to offer gifts to God with a pure heart and seek his forgiveness when we sin. We should strive to live a life pleasing to God and seek his guidance in all things.
